Our innovative, wireless energy management solutions designed to save 30-50% on guest room utility costs were developed with three main goals in mind: The systems should be easy to use, easy to install, and should enrich the guest room experience.

Easy to Use

At the heart of our energy management solutions is our wireless keycard system, which is outfitted with all of the necessary replacement switches, outlets, and plug-in modules to control the lighting and television energy usage in a hotel guest room. Additionally, our elegantly designed digital thermostat responds to room occupancy by entering into either a “comfort” or “energy saving” mode.

As a substitute to the keycard system, we also offer a wireless PIR motion sensor and door switch solution. This fully wireless solution is easily retrofitted into existing guest rooms and can be spec’d into new builds. The PIR and door sensor combo is great for hoteliers that are looking for a passive energy management platform that does not require guest participation.

Upon entering the guest room, the guest initiates control of the lighting, HVAC system, television, and motorized draperies (if applicable) by simply inserting the keycard into the wall mounted Evolve keycard reader. Lighting, TV, and temperature control are operated normally while the room is occupied. When guests leave and remove the keycard, all room lighting is turned off, the television is powered down, and the HVAC system is set-back into an “energy saving” mode.

Easy to Install

Evolve’s use of Z-wave wireless technology has enabled properties to integrate its state of the art energy management solutions into new or existing buildings, without the monetary costs of expensive installations or the opportunity costs of “off-market” rooms during renovation. All rooms are delivered fully programmed and ready for installation.

Our superior programming capabilities have allowed us to specialize in customizing each lighting and temperature specification according to the exact needs and requests of our customers. This can also include future expansion of existing systems to include our LCD room lighting and automation line, the Director Series, or our back office system, EvolveNet.

Tailor-made welcome scenes ensure guests consistently enter their rooms to the property’s predetermined lighting and temperature specifications. Our capability to integrate with motorized draperies not only provides for an added greeting to guests, but also assists in combating the heating effects of the summer sun and the chilling effects of the winter wind. Integration with our back-office system, EvolveNet, allows properties to remotely pre-prepare room settings in anticipation of VIP guests, and facilitates customer housekeeping and privacy requests.
